How This Dental Practice Got 41 Patients & 20x Return on Ads
I just wanted to share another quick case study of one of our favorite practices, Dr. Hylan’s office, which recently launched a killer offer that has netted him at least 41 new starts so far.
This is one of three offices located in Cleveland, OH.
When we talked to Dr. Hylan, he was struggling with his new patient numbers.
His marketing was scattered across the three different offices, and it just felt disjointed.
The branding was outdated, and no single person was responsible for the marketing, which led to a poor ROI.
He understood that if he wanted to cement his legacy with this practice, he needed to go all in on marketing and growing these practices.
So, we went all in with him and really developed a full omnipresent strategy.
What we started with and really spearheaded was the paid ads and lead generation.
Three things led to the success of this dental lead generation campaign.
#1: Authentic dental videos
The first thing was having amazing, authentic videos.
We were able to test different hooks and have them shoot ten different ways of saying the same thing.
Then we split tested that to see what the audience liked—what the locals liked—and really helped them fall in love with the doctor.
We got loads of clicks and activity on those videos.
#2: Having a killer offer
Number two was having a great offer.
Dr. Hylan understood the importance of an offer in marketing, so he said, “Let’s go all in.”
We did a New Patient Special for his dental Facebook ads.
But we juiced it up by adding more value, making it more robust, and even adding a wellness gift basket to make it really a no-brainer.
When someone sees something like $189, they think, “Yeah, let’s go. I can’t miss that.”
#3: Having a speedy call team
Number three was having a speedy call team.
Our dental-trained call team would follow up with those leads within five to 20 minutes, which really increased the conversion rate.
All of this led to building a strong relationship with this practice and this doctor, allowing us to continue working on multiple projects because we were able to deliver results.
Since we launched with him, here are a couple of highlights…
We were able to get him an incredible amount of leads at just $14 per lead.
That’s thanks to that video and that offer. $14 per lead for dental is really good—normally it’s about double that at least.
Since then, we’ve gotten him 41 new patients at least, which is just what we tracked through the funnel.
Usually, there’s an additional 60% that we can’t really track.
Also, from what we tracked, we’ve projected a 20x return on what he’s spending on ads—20 times what he’s putting into the practice, projected in treatment.
Those are some amazing results, and we continue to work with this practice.
